Choosing a chord

Chords are chosen by selecting from the Root, Extension and Bass Note lists on screen or by selecting from the Chord List. Once chosen up to 7 voicings (ways to play) of chord will be displayed in the voicings window, and the first voicing will be illustrated on the fretboard. Clicking on any of the individual voicings will display the voicing on the fretboard.

Click on the Chord Mine button to see a list of famous songs which use any chord.

Chord sets can be created, stored and shared between users. MusicCoach will be offering free download of thousands of chord sets from its website over the coming months.
